Back in October the west coast of Ireland was bombarded by week after week of massive swells.I was hanging out down in Lahinch with some mates, Gav Gallagher of Dreamcatcher Productions, and pro surferJohn McCarthy, Irish Surf Champion.The boys were super fired up about the wave they had surfed that morning for the very first time, Aill Na Searrach or Ailleens. The last weekend in November saw paddlers descend on the Annamoe river in Wicklow from all over Ireland and further afield for the Big Boat Bonanza.
